Council is getting ready for another fantastic Moocooboola Festival and this year we’re excited to announce that Optus has come to the party as our major sponsor!

This year, Moocooboola will take place on Sunday 4 August from 10am to 4pm. It will be a fun filled day of food, attractions and entertainment at Boronia Park Ovals.

Nicholas Gibson, Local General Manager for NSW at Optus, said the partnership with Hunter's Hill Council for the Moocooboola Festival was a great fit, with both organisations committed to supporting and giving back to the local community.

“Optus is always looking at ways to support local initiatives that give back to the community and are important to our customers and our team,” he said.

“We are aiming to help build stronger, connected communities through our support of important local causes, organisations and events. That starts right here in our local Hunters Hill community with events like the Moocooboola Festival.”

Festival goers will enjoy all the crowd favourites of the show including rides, amusement games, showbags, displays, entertainment and the crowd favourite Dog Show.

Hunter’s Hill Council Mayor Zac Miles said the Moocooboola Festival is always a popular event among locals.

“The Moocooboola Festival has been running since 1980 and is part of our area’s history, and something we all look forward to celebrating each year,” Cr Miles said.

“I’m thrilled that Council is working with Optus this year to bring this well-loved community event to life, adding vibrancy and colour to our municipality.”

We look forward to welcoming more sponsors onboard soon.
