Henley Baths

Henley Baths Entrance Sign

Historically, Henley Baths was a local swimming spot.

It is situated amidst residential homes and bordered by a small reserve featuring tree shade. Accessible via a set of stairs with a railing, the baths offer basic bench seating and additional shade along the water's edge. Visitors can relish scenic views of the Parramatta River from this charming location.

Henley Baths is no longer a designated swimming spot as the water is not regularly monitored to meet quality guidelines.

Photo has a warm glow to it. There is a tree in the foreground, offset to the right. Low in the frame is the stone platform. Offset to the left, on the stone platform, there is a wooden table with benches for 6 people. The water is gently lapping at the cut stones that serve as the entry to the water. There is a private jetty in the background and the far background is mostly obscurred by the aformentioned tree. The right of frame is the wider river.

A bench sits in the bottom right corner, extentin to the middle of the frame. The water sits beyond the hand railing, which surrounds the stone platform. The sky occupies almost the entire upper half of the frame, slightly overcast with strong sunlight shining through, the far right-upper half of the frame contains a tree canopy. The background shows boats floating on the water, as well as mangrove and bush lands.
