The Yarn

The YARN

The Yarn is a multipurpose community space that operates as a public library. Library hours are as follows:

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday: 9am – 4.30pm
  • Wednesday: 10am – 4.00pm
  • Thursday: 9am – 4.30pm
  • Friday: 10am – 4pm

Outside of these hours, the Yarn is available to hire for private tutoring, meetings and seminars of up to 50 people.

The YARN Entrance

To the right of frame are the two bookshelves and behind them (on the right hand wall) is the kitchen area and the lit up sign for THE YARN.

The enclosed working space is situated on the right hand side of the frame and it has glass sliding doors and a table with 6 chairs around it. In the background you can see the childrens tables and the backs of the armchairs, as well as the wooden benches that skirt the border of the left hand side of the room (as you enter), there are cushions along the benches that spell out THE YARN with each letter printed on a separate pillow.
