Art and Culture

Hunter’s Hill Council has a long history of art and culture. While Council’s cultural events are popular with today’s generation, it is important to acknowledge Hunters Hill's diverse history, particularly its rich Indigenous culture.

Councils are now recognised as integral in fostering cultural development within the communities they are responsible for. Of all levels of government, local councils are uniquely positioned to lead local art and cultural planning, leveraging their expertise in community consultation and understanding of local values and aspirations for effective cultural development.
