Bedlam Bay Bushwalk steps

Also known as the Convict Trail, this walk will take most people approximately 30 minutes to complete.

Access:

The Bedlam Bay Bushwalk, also known as the Convict Trail, can be accessed from the end of Punt Rd Gladesville. For easy access, see the metal sign that sits far to the right of the sanstone entrance to the Gladesville Hospital. The trail leads directly to Bedlam Bay oval, where you can follow the gravel path along the waters edge which will lead you to the Bedlam Bay a beach area, as well as an additional walking track.

Toilets are available within Bedlam Bay, and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

A dirt bushwalking trail that leads underneath a dense tree canopy, large exposed tree roots and fallen tree trunks. Heading uphill.

Beyond the glade clearing

Photo is of trail opening as seen when entering from Punt Road Gladesville. The trail is dirt and grass and it is flanked on either side by lush healthy grass and trees. The sun is very bright and the bush floor is charmingly illuminated with sunlight and shadows cast. The trail continues on until it vanishes around to the right hand side of the frame.
