Watercraft Storage

The storage of watercraft on Council land requires an annual permit. Permits are valid for twelve months and must be renewed at the start of the financial year (1 July).

Each permit holder receives two identical permit stickers, one to be placed on the vessel and the other on the rack space that it is stored on. If your location does not have racks, you should place one sticker on the vessel and retain the other as a backup.


Step 1.Prepare

Review the available locations, and select two location preferences. 

If you are applying for a residential or concession rate, our team may contact you to provide evidence.  

Step 2.Apply and Pay

Complete your application and pay the annual fee.

Annual fees are:

  • Open storage (Resident) $170.00
  • Open storage (Non-resident) $485.00
  • Enclosed storage (Resident) $485.00
  • Enclosed storage (Non-resident) $485.00
  • Pensioner concession (Resident) $140.00
  • Pensioner concession (Non-resident) $390.00

Step 3.Receive Your Permit

You will receive an email from our Customer Service team confirming that application has been approved and that your stickers will be sent by post. Please contact our Customer Service team if you wish to collect them instead.

Step 1.Visit Us

Visit our Customer Service team at 22 Alexandra Street Hunters Hill, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Step 2.Receive Your Permit

Our Customer Service team will process your application take your payment of the annual fee.

They will also provide you with a confirmation letter and a your stickers.
