Lane Cove Valley Walk

With an outstanding east facing waterfront, this walk is best enjoyed in the early morning hours.

Within the Boronia Park section, the track is almost entirely unpaved, so please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear.

There are sections that require you to climb over rocks, however, there are handrails and footholds that will assist you.

Please exercise all due caution and please ensure that you do not leave any litter or rubbish behind.

You are welcome to bring your dogs on this journey, however they must be leashed at all times.

Trail

Photo shows a series of mangrove trees which have grown in such a way as to form a very large natural walking corridor. The Mangrove tree trunks grow at steep angles and they interlace to form a canopy over the natural walkway. The ground is very dark and clearly dump and the trail leads all the way to a vanishing point in the centre of the frame, at which point the trail meets the Lane Cove River.
