Lane Cove Valley Walk

With an outstanding east facing waterfront, this walk is best enjoyed in the early morning hours.  There are sections that require you to climb over rocks, however, there are handrails and footholds that will assist you.

Trail

Photo shows a series of mangrove trees which have grown in such a way as to form a very large natural walking corridor. The Mangrove tree trunks grow at steep angles and they interlace to form a canopy over the natural walkway. The ground is very dark and clearly dump and the trail leads all the way to a vanishing point in the centre of the frame, at which point the trail meets the Lane Cove River.
