The Integrated Transport Strategy (ITS) serves as a roadmap for the future of transport planning in Hunters Hill.

The aim for the ITS is to establish a safe, efficient, and sustainable transport system by coordinating various modes of transport while considering land use, strategic planning, community needs and economic and social factors, to ensure the future growth of the Hunters Hill meets the diverse needs of our residents, visitors, and workers.

The key points of the ITS are:

  • Identify a transport vision and objectives that align with state, regional and local planning;
  • Address the transport needs of community, business and visitors;
  • Integrate transport planning and land-use;
  • Inform and support Council’s strategic plans;
  • Identify actions for improvement of transport infrastructure, services, safety and policy.
