Art Season dates announced
Published on 22 July 2025
The 2025 Hunters Hill Art season dates and events have been officially released!
Hunters Hill boasts a vibrant art culture, with annual events that celebrate the exceptional creative talent within our community.
This year’s art season kicks off in October 2025 with Young in Art, the annual youth exhibition showcasing the artistic talents of local K-12 students from all eight schools across the region.
This exhibition highlights the creativity and vision of our youngest artists and encourages community support for emerging talent.
Young in Art will take place from Thursday, 23 October to Sunday, 26 October between 10am and 4pm at the Hunters Hill Town Hall.
On Sunday 2 November 2025, the community is invited to participate in L’Arte de la Terre en plein air, a brand-new outdoor landscape painting day held at the picturesque Clarkes Point Reserve in Woolwich from 10am.
This event offers artists of all levels an opportunity to connect with nature and capture the local natural scenery in an open-air setting. The winning artworks for the Best Landscape and People's Choice Prizes will go straight into the final for the Hunter's Hill Art Exhibition in May 2026.
Culminating the Art season, the much-anticipated Hunters Hill Art Exhibition will return to its traditional date in May 2026. It will showcase a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media from both emerging and established artists.
Mayor Zac Miles said the art season offers a curated showcase for acclaimed artists and emerging talent in the area.
“Events like these are important for encouraging our many local artists, providing them with a platform to highlight their creativity and connect with our community,” said Mayor Miles.
“By supporting artists at every stage, we ensure Hunters Hill continues to be a place that cultivates and supports artistic expression and engagement.”
Council invites residents and visitors to immerse themselves in this celebration of art, community, and place.
