Sustainability Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Sustainability Advisory Committee is to: 

  • assist in the formation, evolution, implementation and promotion of Council's Sustainability Action Plan and circular economy strategies, initiatives and outcomes
  • utilise the expertise, experience of local knowledge of the community to assist in deliver of appropriate local sustainability and circular economy outcomes. 

The Committee consists of: 

  • Four Councillors
  • Nine community representatives, five who have relevant qualifications
  • Youth representatives, nominated by each of the four high schools within the Municipality.
