Riverglade Reserve

Shows the access bridge that leads from Manning Road into Riverglade reserve. Bridge is flanked by tall trees which host a large colony of flying foxes. — Western Entrance (off Manning road)

Observation platform that overhangs the Tarban Creek, this location allows you to more closely observe the flying foxes. The lookout platform is made of wood and the sun can be seen filtering in through the trees. — Tarban Creek lookout platform

Photo shows some of the extensive mangrove wetland environment that makes Riverglade Reserve such a critical environment for our native wildlife. The grove extends for up to a hundred meters in frame and eventually it becomes obscured by distance. — Riverglade Reserve Mangroves
