Council is pleased to announce the newly upgraded grandstand at Boronia Park is now open to the public.
The refreshed grandstand includes a new internal fit-out with a modern kitchen and storage. It will be rededicated as the C.A Fairland Pavilion with signage erected soon.
Improvements were also made to the public toilets and existing footpaths. This upgrade is part of Council’s ongoing commitment to improving local recreational facilities and supporting the lively sporting culture in our area.
Additionally, a new maintenance shed was constructed between ovals two and three allowing Council to store its Machinery and tools used for maintaining our open space close by.
Mayor Zac Miles said he was excited to see that the new grandstand is being enjoyed by the community once again.
“It’s a great facility that will serve our sporting groups and the broader community for many years to come,” he said.
“The renewed grandstand and new shed represent a milestone in Council’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and livability in the Hunters Hill local area.”
Council is dedicated to investing in community spaces that bring residents together and promote healthy, active lifestyles for all residents.
