Bedlam Bay swim site further upgrades during Winter

Council is looking forward to opening the new Bedlam Bay Swim site with the infrastructure works now complete and the installation of a swim net around the enclosure.
Council is taking the opportunity to undertake improvement works to the current amenities and footpaths at the site during the winter period.
These improvements will ensure safe and easy access to the site, complementing the swimming enclosure and preparing the site for its highly anticipated public opening in November.
The works are part of Council’s ongoing commitment to activate Bedlam Bay as a premier local swimming destination along the Parramatta River.
Hunters Hill Mayor Zac Miles said these works are Council’s commitment to making Bedlam Bay a protected and accessible place for all residents and visitors to enjoy.
“We’re excited to open the site this November and provide a new way for residents to connect with our beautiful rivers and parklands,” he said.
“This project is a reflection of how Council will continue to deliver infrastructure projects and make improvements to our local amenity, while promoting our open space for the wellbeing of our residents.”
The Bedlam Bay swim site will be a great addition to the municipality’s recreational offerings, and these infrastructure improvements ensure everyone can access it comfortably and securely.
Council looks forward to welcoming swimmers and visitors to Bedlam Bay this summer, and ensuring it is a safe and fantastic experience for all.
