Transport and traffic management

As parking will be extremely limited around the festival precinct,  a FREE Busways shuttle bus will run approximately every 20 minutes to Hunter’s Hill Town Hall along the standard 538 route from 10am – 4pm. There will be an additional outward loop along Victoria Road with stops near Riverside Girls High School and the former Gladesville Hospital site. The bus will run from Gladesville Shops to Woolwich via Boronia Park Shops, Boronia Park Oval, Hunters Hill Village Shops and Hunter’s Hill Town Hall.

The usual 538 service will still require an Opal Card and will not loop along Victoria Road.

INWARD:
You can get on the bus at any of the usual 538 stops, plus along Victoria Road near Riverside Girls and Gladesville Hospital. Alight at Hunters Hill Town Hall. Look for the Moocooboola Shuttle Bus signs.

OUTWARD:
Catch the bus from Hunter’s Hill Town Hall and alight at any stop along the route.

See bus timetable, bus route map and parking information below.

On Saturday 20 August from 8am there will be no access to D’Aram St (adjacent to Town Hall) from Alexandra St or Madeline St.

Twilight Retirement Village RESIDENTS AND STAFF ONLY will still have controlled vehicle access via their Underground Car Park entrance in D’Aram St, or pedestrian access via Ferdinand St.

This closure will have minimal impact to local residents, with access via Ferdinand St uninterrupted. Traffic Controllers and Security Guards will be onsite during the festival.

D’Aram St will reopen Saturday 20 August at approximately 7pm or when all infrastructure is off site and the road is safe.

Parking Lanes on both sides of Alexandra Street will be closed from 5pm Friday 19 August and reopen to the public late on Saturday evening when all sites have been cleared.

Parking will be extremely limited around the Town Hall Precinct. Please catch the bus or walk in.

There will be two car parks available (limited spots) for Park and Ride use at Gladesville Hospital with a small donation. Please obey the direction of parking attendants. Entry via top gate in Punt Road.

All funds raised from the car park will go to the Gladesville Ravens.

To maintain quick access for Emergency Services, there will be no on-street parking on Alexandra Street down to Ferry Street.

Activities & Entertainment

This year ticketed rides will be located in the Hunters Hill Town Hall car park and in the former Depot site. Entrance to both is via D’Aram Street. Tickets can be purchased at the booth between the driveways.

Ticket Prices:

  • Rides $8 per go or 5 goes for $35
  • Sideshows $7 or 3 goes for $20

From 1pm – 3pm* a dunking machine will be operating in the rides precinct at the Hunters Hill Town Hall car park. Make a gold coin donation to the nominated charity to dunk the surprise guest!
