To prune or remove overhanging branches from your neighbours tree in the Hunters Hill area, you must obtain permission beforehand.

Pruning or Removal

If you would like to remove or prune a neighbour’s tree, you must obtain consent from all property owners prior to seeking approval from Council.

In the case of a strata titled property, consent of the body corporate must be obtained.

Disputes over Trees

If your neighbor's trees are damaging or could damage your property, and they refuse to cooperate, consider consulting the Land and Environment Court for guidance.
