Need a lift? Youth Photography Competition

Hunter's Hill Council is proudly supporting the 2025 Need a Lift? Youth Photography Competition to help uplift our community during Mental Health Month.

Young people aged 12-24 years old are invited to submit a photo that they find uplifting, positive or joyful, with a brief description explaining why.

Finalist photos will be selected by a panel of young people and professionally printed for public exhibition throughout health services and local council building elevators during Mental Health Month.

Prizes include:

• $350 gift card for the overall winner
• $250 gift card for the overall runner-up
• $150 gift cards for winners in three age categories (12-15, 16-18, and 19-24 years old)
• $250 gift card for the People’s Choice Award

The event is organised by Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) School-link, NSLHD Health Promotion, Hunters Hill Council, North Sydney Council, Lane Cove Council, Ku-ring-gai Council, City of Ryde Council, headspace Brookvale, headspace Chatswood, Northern Beaches Council, Hornsby Ku-ring- gai Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Willoughby Council and Macquarie University Lifespan Health and Wellbeing ResearchCentre.
