Today's NAIDOC Week Walk on Country has been CANCELLED due to the wet weather and the slippery conditions at Kelly’s Bush.
Our Walk on Country at Kelly's Bush in celebration of NAIDOC Week, has been POSTPONED due to the high level of rainfall overnight, creating slippery and hazardous conditions.
Please join us on the new date of Friday 17 July from 1.30pm to 3.30pm,
The walk will commence at the Weil Park amenities block and continue through Kelly’s Bush.
The walk will be facilitated by Koori Kinnections Guide, Darren Charlwood, who will delve into the history and culture of the area and the Wallamattagal people, the traditional custodians of all the land and water of the Hunters Hill local government area. He will also speak to the unique significance of the land surrounding Kelly’s Bush, with a particular focus on the plants and landscapes.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Registration is required and can be made via the online form below.
