NAIDOC Week: Walk on Country

Join us for a Walk on Country on Thursday 10 July from 10am to 12pm, in celebration of NAIDOC Week.

The walk will commence at the Weil Park amenities block and continue through Kelly’s Bush.

The walk will be facilitated by David Bird, who will delve into the history and culture of the area and the Wallamattagal people, the traditional custodians of all the land and water of the Hunters Hill local government area. He will also speak to the unique significance of the land surrounding Kelly’s bush, with a particular focus on the sandstone rock platforms and the natural rock pools.
