With a history extending over 100 years, Boronia Park South hosts one of the oldest rugby clubs in all of Australia (the Hunters Hill Rugby Club, est.1892). Branching out from rugby, Boronia Park South also features facilities to support both cricket and netball, including full floodlight coverage.

Boronia Park South also features publicly available workout equipment and is very popular with personal trainers.

Off-leash Dog Walking: Oval Three (3), which is the eastern oval (set on the low ground), enjoys unrestricted off-leash activities; note that bookings of oval three take priority over off-leash dog activities.
