SCS Christmas Hamper Drive

Hunter's Hill Council is proud to once again be supporting the Sydney Community Services Christmas Hamper Drive to provide extra help to families in need this festive season.

Council has set up a donation station under the Christmas Tree in the Town Hall foyer to collect food and personal items.

The items being collected include:

Canned fruits, vegetables, and beans

Christmas decorations

Shampoo and conditioner

Canned meat i.e., ham, tuna, salmon

Movie vouchers

Body wash

Canned soup

Book vouchers or magazines

Body lotion

Dried pasta and noodles

Candles

Hand cream

Rice

Scented soaps

Deodorant

Dried fruits and nuts

Bath salts

Toothpaste and toothbrush

Long-life or powdered milk

Christmas decorations

Floss and mouth wash

Condiments i.e., honey, jams

Movie vouchers

Sunscreen

Sugar, salt, spices

Book vouchers or magazines

Hairbrush and combs

Cooking oil and vinegar

Hair accessories i.e., hair clips, hairbands, headbands

Pasta sauce and long-life premade sauces.

Face wipes

Christmas puddings

Sanitary items i.e., pads and/or tampons

Panettone cakes

 

Cotton pads

Biscuits (sweet or savory)

 

 

Cake and pancake batter mixes

 

 

Nut free chocolates and lollies

 

 

Instant coffee and tea bags

 

 

1kg flour

 

 

Stock cubes

 

 

Soft drinks and juice

 

 

Donations are being accepted until Thursday 18 December.

The collected items will be packaged into Christmas hampers and distributed to those in need by Sydney Community Services.
