Riverfest 2026

As part of Riverfest 2026, Hunter's Hill Council is hosting a community clean-up at the new Bedlam Bay swim site on World Cleanup Day, helping to protect and care for our local waterways.

The cleanup will take place on Sunday 20 September from 9am-11am.

The meeting point is at the toilet block near the Bedlam Bay oval in the Gladesville Hospital Grounds.

Limited parking is available via the Campbell Drive entrance off Punt Road, adjacent to the Police Station. Additional parking is available at the end of Punt Road, with a short walk through Parramatta River Regional Park (approximately 10 minutes) to the meeting point. Alternatively, several 500-series bus services operate along Victoria Road.

All equipment and gloves will be provided. You are welcome to attend even if you can only spare an hour or less.

Held from Saturday 19 September to Sunday 27 September 2026, Riverfest is a community celebration of the Parramatta River and its waterways. Coinciding with World Cleanup Day and World Rivers Day, the festival features a range of free activities across the catchment, including walks, talks, workshops, family activities, environmental events and volunteer opportunities.
