E-Bike Safety Workshop and Guided Ride

Young people aged 10 to 17 years are invited to take part in this free school holiday workshop, designed to build confidence in e-bike safety, maintenance and responsible riding.

Hosted by E-Bike Safety Australia, the workshop is presented by Hunter's Hill Council and other neighbouring Councils. It will be held on Wednesday 7 October 2026 from 1pm to 3pm at Synergy Youth Centre, Lane Cove. The session includes an interactive safety presentation, practical demonstrations and a supervised ride around Lane Cove.

Participants will learn about:

  • Basic e-bike maintenance
  • Battery and fire safety
  • Helmets and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Bike security
  • Safe riding practices

The workshop will conclude with a guided ride, giving participants the opportunity to put their new skills into practice.

Come along, build your confidence and learn how to ride your e-bike safely and responsibly.
