COMMUNITY-LED EVENT: Bastille Day-French market at Woolwich Dock

Le Marché-Sydney's French market, is kicking off Sydney’s Bastille Day celebrations — and you’re invited!

Held at the Woolwich Dock on Sunday 13 July, from 9am to 2pm! Grab your beret and soak up the Frenchest vibes on this side of the Seine. Here’s what’s taking place at the très magnifique Bastille bash:

French Cuisine: Raclette, croissants, crème brûlée, escargots (for the brave).
Rock ’n’ Roll Dance Showcase: Get ready to twist, jive and clap along as dancers bring the vintage swagger and energy of 50s France to the stage. If you’ve never seen French rockabilly, now’s the time.
Artisan Market: it’s retail therapy with a French accent. French perfumes, Parisian fashion, croissant scented candles, French linen, Vintage French posters and more.
Live Jazz Band – Smooth, swinging and oh-so-Parisian, our live jazz band will keep the mood silky and sophisticated all day long.
Romantic Accordion Tunes – Nothing says "Paris in July" quite like the nostalgic sound of a love-sick accordion floating through the air.
Best Dressed Competition – Come dressed So French so Chic!
