Step 1.Book online

• Download the ReSmart App or visit resmart.co.

• Select On-demand Pickup and choose the Regular size.

• Pick a date that shows “Council-subsidised Pickup” to get your FREE collection.

  • If that date doesn’t suit you, you can book another available time for $19 (up to 60L / 2 bags). 

• ReSmart will send reminders so you don’t miss it.

Step 2.Pack your items

• Use any two shopping bags (around 40×30×20cm each) or a box up to 60L.

• Fill them with dry, reasonably clean items such as soft plastics, e-waste, textiles, blister packs, and more.

• If it doesn’t go in your regular bins, and it’s dry, pop it in!

Step 3.Place your bags out

• Put them outside your house or near your building’s letterboxes before 8am on your Pickup day.

• You can cancel or reschedule your Pickup before 4pm the day before.

Step 4.That’s it!

• Your local ReSmart driver will collect your items and make sure they’re recycled, reused, or repurposed. 

• If your bags are reusable, your driver will leave it where you left – don’t forget to retrieve them.

• ReSmart weighs every bag so you can track your positive impact.

Step 5.Want more Pickups? 

Once your current Pickup is completed, you can easily book another one using the same simple process. You’ll be able to schedule it at least 4 weeks after your last completed Pickup, subject to availability.
