Parking Permits

Home > Property > Getting Around > Parking Permits

Hunter’s Hill Council has two parking permit areas, where permits are provided to those who meet the eligibility criteria. This exempts the nominated vehicle from time restrictions and/or parking fees in the designated area.

Digital parking permits are issued for these areas, with the exception of the Woolwich resident visitor permit which is a physical permit. Enforcement officers check for valid permits by entering the number plate into handheld devices.

Different permit types operate within these areas. Please see each permit type for more information.

The expiry date of current permit holders of Woolwich Resident parking area (W1) and Clarkes Point Resident (W2) which are due to expire on 30 June 2021 will be extended to 30 June 2024. If you are holder of these permits you do not need to re-apply unless your details have changed.

If you are current holder of a Hunters Hill Sailing Club permit or a new member you must re-apply NOW as your permit expires on 30 June.

All residents eligible to apply for a Woolwich Visitors permit must apply now for a NEW PERMIT which will be valid until 30 June 2022.
