We are updating our Community Plan and supporting documents in line with government guidelines and feedback from the community.

WHY ARE WE UPDATING THE COMMUNITY PLAN?

Updating the Community Plan will help us to prioritise what we need to do to achieve the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future.

In doing this we will need to develop a Community Plan that contains the services, facilities, programs and projects that our community need.

VIRTUAL VISION BOARDS

Take a look at the virtual vision board:

  • Connected & Accessible Infrastructure (roads, footpaths, bike paths, traffic, parking, etc)
  • Sustainability, Environment & Open Space (bushland, creeks, waterways, reducing waste and energy consumption, etc)
  • Community & Belonging (youth, older people, disability, events, library, etc)
  • Places for People (village and commercial centres, playgrounds, parks, sports, place making, etc)
  • Governance, Participation & Partnerships (business, finance, technology, engagement, etc)

Add words or pictures to the boards to tell us what each theme means to you now, or what it might mean in the future. Think of these virtual vision boards as a place to brainstorm ideas about what’s important to you, your family and your community.

Thank you to everyone who has already participated in a telephone survey conducted independently by Micromex. Over 400 residents were surveyed to understand what is important in shaping the future of Hunters Hill.
