The YARN library and community space in Hunters Hill Village was officially opened on 23 October 2020.

Council is delivering a range of activities from story time to village talks, and a click and collect library service in partnership with Lane Cove Council.

It is now intended that The YARN, located at 64 Gladesville Road in the arcade, be made available for hire when the space is not in use for library and community activities.

Bookings in the morning and after hours, and exclusive use of the boardroom any day of the week provide an opportunity to fund additional programs and services to the community.

The fees charged for the use of The YARN as a meeting space will be used towards recovery of some of the costs for services that are provided at the facility.


It is proposed that the following fees be charged at The YARN for the use of the space for meetings and community functions:
