The Hunters Hill Citizen of the Year Awards recognise the outstanding accomplishments of individuals and groups who make a positive contribution to our community.
Nominations are open from 20 October to 27 November 2022.
Awards will be presented on 26 January 2023.
Nominations are being called for in four categories:
Any resident aged 25 years or over as of 26 January 2023, who has contributed in a significant manner to the wider community in a voluntary or paid capacity.
Must be a resident or affiliated with an association or community group within the Hunters Hill local government area.
Any young person aged 12 to 24 years old as of 26 January 2023, who has contributed in a significant manner to the wider community or their school community in a voluntary capacity.
Must be a resident or affiliated with an association or community group within Hunters Hill local government area.
Any sports person who has achieved outstanding individual results in their chosen sport, or who has contributed significantly to the success of their team.
If nominating an individual they must be a resident or affiliated with an association or community group within the Hunters Hill local government area.
Any community group that has contributed significantly to the well-being of Hunters Hill residents.
Must be a resident or affiliated with an association or community group within the Hunters Hill local government area.
A panel will judge the nominations and winners will be presented with their awards on Australia Day 2023.
