The popularity of food trucks and mobile food vending vehicles has resulted in Council receiving enquiries regarding mobile food vending.
The purpose of this draft Policy and Guidelines is to provide Council and the community with a framework for applications to be considered against, to allow the suitable placements of mobile food vending vehicles across the Hunters Hill area, without negatively impacting upon the current trading practices of fixed retail food premises.
That draft Mobile Vending Vehicle Policy and Guidelines are on public exhibition until 26 August 2021.
It is proposed to charge the following annual fees:
Food vans: exempt from the payment of fees.
Food trucks: $450.
