The Gladesville Main Street Committee was established to communicate with residents, business owners, landlords and visitors the benefits of a strong and vibrant business precinct in Gladesville and engage their support and cooperation in the achievement of the Committee’s objectives.
The Committee also reviews various strategic documents produced for and by both Hunters Hill and City of Ryde councils to identify and prioritise initiatives in addition to developing strategies to create attractive and friendly places and enhance the economic viability of the Gladesville Village Precinct.
There are four meetings of the Committee each year, with the Committee meeting quarterly.
Council is calling for two additional retail representatives to join the Committee and seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons,.
The position would be for up to 10 months, to align with the next Local Government election set for September 2021.
Expressions of interest are due by Wednesday 2 December 2020.
