The Hunters Hill Main Street Committee was established to identify opportunities for improvement of the presentation and amenity of the Hunters Hill business precinct through individual and cooperative arrangements involving landlords, business tenants and Council.
In addition, the Committee actions initiatives within the Town Centre Master Plan and promotes the revitalisation of the centre, identifies strategies to attract people and traffic to the business precinct, communicates to residents and visitors the benefits of a strong and vibrant business precinct and engages their support and cooperation in the achievement of the Committee’s objectives while reviewing the various strategic documents produced for and by Council to identify and prioritise initiatives.
Council is calling for five retail and three commercial/landlord representatives to join the Committee and seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons.
The position would be for up to 10 months, to align with the next Local Government election set for September 2021.
Expressions of interest are due by Wednesday 2 December 2020.
