Hunter’s Hill Council are excited to be hosting another Clean Up Australia Day event, and we are inviting everybody to come together and help keep our beautiful urban bushland clean! The event details are as follows:

 

When: Sunday 5th of March

Where: Gladesville Reserve

Time: 9.00am – 11.00am

Meeting Point: Huntleys Point Road opposite Riverside Girls High

Council will provide gloves, sunscreen, and rubbish bags. All you need to bring is a hat, water, suitable clothing and closed in footwear, no thongs or sandals.

 

Tarban Creek Cleaner-Uppers will also be hosting a Clean Up Australia Day event. There is a range of rubbish removal options, from the gentle walk around the park with a rubbish and a recycling bag, to intrepid mangrove rubbish removal and even via kayak to pull the plastic bags out of the water. The event details are as follows:

 

When: Sunday 5th of March

Where: Riverglade Reserve

Time: 9.00am – 12.00pm

Meeting Point: Tarban Creek footbridge, Joly Parade
