Due to extreme weather, Woolwich Baths and other tidal pools across Sydney are temporarily closed.

The conditions have affected water quality and resulted in large amounts of marine debris.

The baths, and other tidal pools across Sydney, will remain closed until water quality improves and specialist marine contractors can conduct a thorough inspection following the weather event.

You can check daily forecasts for Woolwich Baths and other swimming spots on the Beachwatch page of the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage website.
