Our Council is seeking public feedback to update strategic documents that will help guide provision of services, programs and projects to our community.
We are preparing a 2022-2026 Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP), renewing the previous plan in place.
We want to hear your views on how well the Hunters Hill local government area enables the equal inclusion of people with disability or chronic health conditions.
Your answers will help our Council plan for good community connections, accessible places and services and improved participation of people with disability in community life.
A survey is open until 15 May.
A series of in-person or over the phone consultation opportunities will be scheduled in the coming weeks. Please get in touch with us via people@huntershill.nsw.gov.au if you would like to participate.
You can read more and subscribe for updates via the project page.
We are also updating our Community Plan and supporting documents in line with government guidelines and feedback from the community.
The plan outlines the services, facilities, programs and projects we provide, based on community priorities and aspirations for the future.
Feedback can be shared through an in-person drop-in session at Town Hall:
Thursday, 28 April 2022
9am – 10am
Wednesday, 4 May 2022
6pm – 7pm
Please RSVP via email goodmana@huntershill.nsw.gov.au or phone 9879 9400.
You can also contribute online via our virtual vision board adding words or photos on themes such as as infrastructure, the environment, community services, local places and governance to tell us what these mean to you now, or what it might mean in the future.
