Works including road resurfacing and installation of rubber speed cushions, is scheduled to commence from August 1 on High Street, between Pittwater and Park roads.

As well as upgrading the roadway, the project is designed to improve traffic and safety and comes in response to community concerns about rat running and speeding vehicles.

Work is expected to take up to four weeks, weather permitting.

Crews will also from Monday be continuing work to repair potholes on roads throughout our local government area.

Traffic control measures will be in place to minimise travel disruption.
