Recycling just got easier with our partner, RecycleSmart!

We want to empower our residents to improve their recycling practices, live more sustainably and work towards becoming a zero waste community. So, we’ve partnered with Recycle Smart to make it easier.

Download the RecycleSmart app now.

The app provides specific and localised information on how to correctly dispose of over 250 waste items. From glass to batteries or chemicals – find the answer at your fingertips. You can even use the app to look up your next collection day (note: coming soon for the Hunters Hill local government area) and find out about local waste events.

Introducing the Power Pickup

Recycling the tricky stuff (like soft plastics, e-waste and clothing) is now as easy as pie.

• Fill a RecycleSmart bag (or your own) with your “non-bin” items and book a Power Pickup in a few clicks.
• The RecycleSmart team will come to your doorstep and ensure your waste is properly recycled. Every bag collected is weighed, to keep track of recycling records.
• Subscribe for free for a monthly Power Pickup or book a single Power Pickup for $2 each time you have a bag ready.
• Right now, 20% of red bin waste could be recycled. Help us keep it out of landfill, and keep our community beautiful!
