MEDIA RELEASE
Hunter’s Hill Council has adopted a Plan of Management for Riverglade Reserve.
The plan provides guidelines and actions for future management and maintenance of the reserve.
It was adopted at a meeting on Monday (15 February 2021), following an analysis of feedback from a public exhibition period during November and December 2020.
Council worked with Eco Logical Australia to update a 2013 Plan of Management for Riverglade Reserve.
The updated plan can be viewed on Council’s website: huntershill.nsw.gov.au/plans-of-management.
The Council on Monday night also endorsed progress on plans for a sports and community facility at Boronia Park.
A Gladesville Mainstreet Committee will continue operating with members including Council, retail, commercial and community representatives.
A Hunters Hill Village Mainstreet Committee will be wound up, due to a low number of nominations.
Council thanks the Hunters Hill Village Mainstreet Committee for its past contribution to the community, including through events such as Hunters Hill Street Feast.
Council meetings are held on the third Monday of each month.
Meetings are streamed live on YouTube and agendas and minutes are available online.
Public participation is also welcome, through applications to address the Council on matters relevant to the community.
