Hunters Hill enjoyed fantastic weather for the return of our premier carnival, Moocooboola Festival (Saturday 20 August, 2022).

The festival returned to its traditional home at the Hunters Hill Town Hall precinct and surrounds. In the past two years, the festival has been unable to run due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, making its return both special and highly anticipated.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of free entertainment in the Town Hall, at Hunters Hill Public School, at the Life Congregational Church and at the perennial Moocooboola Dog Show on All Saints’ church lawn.

In between all the entertainment, attendees enjoyed the official opening of Moocooboola by the Mayor plus the unveiling of the Nora Heysen bust at Town Hall (previously positioned in Garibaldi Village Square.)

A great variety of food was enjoyed by festival goers whilst they wandered around the Town Hall precinct, engaging with the many stallholders hawking their wares and services.

The day was a testament to how passionate and vibrant the Hunters Hill community is.

The Moocooboola Festival event sponsors were United Resource Management (URM), Access Group Solutions, and Life Congregational Church.

The supporters and venue partners were The Anglican Parish of Hunters Hill, Hunters Hill Public School, NSW Health and Hunters Hill High School.

Hunter’s Hill Council thanks all sponsors, supporters, and venue partners for their generosity.

Thank you to Access Group Solutions for sponsoring the photography of the event.
