With years of experience in high end fashion and other retail stores, opening her own store has been a long-time dream for Anita Azaro

She has now opened her doors to the public in Hunters Hill Village, with Azara Boutique offering European style clothing and footwear.

Anita is pleased to be open after COVID kept the doors closed during much of last year.

“We had some unlucky timing opening the store in June 2021, just before several months of lockdown, so I’m very happy to be finally open to the public,” she said.

Based on her own experience of wanting comfortable yet stylish footwear and easy to wear fashion, Anita wanted her own boutique to provide this range to the community as well.

She said Azara Boutique brings a bit of Europe to Hunters Hill with a range of natural fibre clothing including linen, silk, cotton and leather from European brands.

“With our range of clothing you don’t have to worry too much about ironing because that’s the look, and it’s also light-weight so good for summer,” Anita said.

“There’s a little bit of everything in the store – clothing, shoes, gifts, homewares and Australian-made unique jewelry pieces.”

Anita chose to open her store in Hunters Hill because she loves the vibe of the area.

“It’s a beautiful suburb, with the hills, green spaces and water,” she said.

“I like working in Hunters Hill, it’s a friendly suburb – in fact it’s my favourite suburb in all of Sydney”.
