Playgrounds across the Hunters Hill community have been equipped with swings that are inclusive to all children.

Hunter’s Hill Council partnered with social enterprise Play For All Australia, and the Gladesville Chamber of Commerce, as well as other generous sponsors to get the swings in to parks and promote awareness of social inclusion.

The installation of the high-backed infant swing seats follows a four-week campaign, which ran in late 2020.

Young community members were invited to swing on a tech-enabled inclusive seat at Buffalo Creek Reserve.

A built-in counter recorded every swing, with live tracking at playforall.com.au.

Targets were progressively reached to unlock sponsored inclusive swing seat upgrades at other playgrounds across our community.

Children, with help from parents and carers, clocked up more than 25,000 swings.

The new sponsored swing seats are now available for all to enjoy at playgrounds across Hunters Hill.

See the image gallery below for details on where you can find the swings and the sponsors who made the installation possible.
