The sun was shining on seniors today (Thursday 16 June, 2022) at the Henley Garden Party at Henley Community Green.

Attendees enjoyed a free morning tea and music while connecting with local social groups, special interest groups and support services.

The event was jointly presented by Hunter’s Hill CouncilCity of RydeLane Cove CouncilStryderSydney Community ServicesHappy Hens Social Enterprise and Presbyterian Aged Care: North Ryde Community Aid.

Scones were provided by the Country Women’s Association.

Gardening workshops were by Easy Care Gardening.

Originally scheduled in April as part of NSW Seniors Festival, the event was postponed due to severe weather.
