In response to the NSW Government’s public health order and to the increased number of COVID-19 cases in Greater Sydney, Council is responding proactively. From Tuesday 22 December, Town Hall will be closed. All services will be available through our website, and Customer Service can be reached via phone 9879 9400.
Council echoes the recommendation of the State government and encourages our community to follow the guidelines:
1. Don’t go out
2. If you do go out, wear a mask
3. Make sure your provide correct details for trace registers
4. Get tested, even if you have even the mildest of symptoms such as headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose. Find the location of your nearest Covid-19 testing clinic.
5. Isolate until a negative result is received.
Restrictions currently for Greater Sydney are found here: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/what-you-can-and-cant-do-under-rules/greater-sydney. It includes the maximum number of people allowed in your home.
Council will reopen on 4 January 2021.
