The Boronia Bike Track has received an award of excellence from Parks and Leisure Australia NSW/ACT.

The honour was awarded to Hunter’s Hill Council and Youth Services Australia, as the organisations that worked with local riders and community members on the track.

The bike park project received the award for a playspace valued at less than $500,000, at the Parks and Leisure Australia NSW/ACT 2022 Region Awards of Excellence.

Parks and Leisure Australia NSW/ACT held its 2022 Conference from July 26 to 28 in Lismore, in the Northern Rivers region.

The win also includes qualification as a finalist in the Parks and Leisure Australia National Awards of Excellence.

The custom-designed bike track, which features a three-level course, opened at Boronia Park in December 2021.
