There are numerous walking tracks that network through Hunter’s Hill Councils bushland reserves, from easy loop walks to longer foreshore bush walks including the Great North Walk.

Hunters Hill has diverse landscapes to enjoy a bushwalk, ranging from open forest, woodland, heath shrubland and estuarine communities. Keep an eye open on your walk for birds, water dragons, insects, frogs, possums, even an echidna, lace monitor or wallaby.

Bushland is a significant part of Hunters Hills natural heritage and has many values which make it significant to locals and visitors alike. In addition Hunter’s Hill’s bushland is rich with sites of Aboriginal heritage significance.
