Riverglade Bushcare

Riverglade Reserve is situated in the lower portion of Tarban Creek. Featuring crucial remnant bushland and mangroves. The site forms part of a natural corridor allowing wildlife to move safely between the marine environment of Sydney Harbour, and inland environments. Although critically important, these corridors are becoming less common as development encroaches further along our Harbours. The Riverglade Bushcare group work enthusiastically towards maintaining this important bushland corridor, tackling a range of weeds from groundcovers to shrubs and climbing vines. This site presents a great opportunity to learn about the variety of plants and animals making use of this native corridor, whilst also working with a broad range of weed species.

This Bushcare group meets on the second Saturday of each month, at 8.00am.
