Collingwood Street Reserve

Collingwood Street Reserve has excellent views over Woolwich baths and has so much potential as a beautiful budding Bushcare site. It is a small reserve which has historically been overrun with giant invasive Camphor Laurel trees, and weedy vines and shrubs. Appreciating the potential of the site, the locals banded together to create the Collingwood Street Reserve Bushcare group, and have begun a huge transformation of the challenging site. Their great work is paying off, with native groundcovers now making a healthy return! A wide range of skills can be learned and practiced on this site as we continue clearing remaining weeds, large and small, and begin replacing them with beautiful, wildlife attracting natives.

This Bushcare group meets on the Second Sunday of each month at 9.00am.
