Hunter’s Hill Council Bushcare Volunteers learn and work together to improve the health of our urban bushland and increase the number of native plants and animals, whilst creating beautiful spaces for our community to enjoy. Sessions are held every month, and all ages are welcome. Come and join us! Learn something new and exciting about your local bushland!

There are so many benefits to joining a Bushcare Group

  • find out about native plants and animals, and learn to identify them in the bush
  • help native species regrow, and create more habitat for threatened animals
  • explore the impacts of invasive species on the Australian landscape
  • put into practice invasive species identification and control strategies
  • learn professional, and sustainable bush regeneration techniques
  • join a diverse and enthusiastic group of like-minded people
  • make new friends
  • take on an empowering new skillset
  • and, enjoy the fresh air and time outdoors!
