Hunter’s Hill Council works closely with Service NSW, the State Government agency responsible for making it easier to access government services for people and businesses across NSW.

Making it easier for you to do business

Council has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Service NSW, a partnership through which to promote and deliver an Easy to do Business program to small business across New South Wales.

The purpose of this collaboration is to:

  • help business owners open and grow a café, small bar or restaurant by providing a single online digital solution and personalised support; and
  • make it easier to set up a business in New South Wales.

The Easy to do Business program is a free service for the Council and customers.

It is expected to expand to include other industries and the entire small business lifecycle, in the future.

Support for businesses in need

Service NSW can also offer support to businesses following natural disasters.

Business owners can register through the agency’s website www.service.nsw.gov.au for access to a case manager who can help:

  • replace personal and business documents (eg licences, permits, certificates);
  • take you through the financial support that might be available to you (eg grant, loan, allowance);
  • connect you with free local business advisors;
  • fill out forms and reduce your paperwork; and
  • provide information for employees about allowances and the help available to them.
