Lets play BINGO! Join us for a free lunchtime virtual Bingo session with “The Streets Of Hunters Hill” bingo game on Tuesday 19 May at 12.15pm.
This session will consist of 10 games. Each game will have one randomly generated card per player with a $10 restaurant or cafe voucher prize for the winner.
RSVP with your email address to people@huntershill.nsw.gov.au and we will send you the Zoom link and instructions for generating your first game card.
Games are open to Residents of Hunter’s Hill Council Local Government Area only.
Terms and Conditions
The Bingo game is hosted at www.bingobaker.com and was created by the People, Place and Projects team at Hunter’s Hill Council.
One randomly generated card of “The Streets of Hunter’s Hill” Virtual Bingo will be assigned per player, per game. To access the card, the player will follow the link provided in an email from Hunter’s Hill Council. The link is not to be shared publicly.
There is no charge to play or to access a game card.
Using the randomly generated call list on www.bingobaker.com, the caller will (via the live Zoom video conferencing medium) announce each street as they appear in the list.
Once a player has marked 5 consecutive boxes in a row – vertically, horizontally or diagonally on their virtual card, the player must call out “Bingo!” and then send a “wave” via Zoom in order to win that game. The “wave” can be time-stamped.
The game will then pause whilst the caller checks the card (the caller has view access to all generated cards). The Caller will take a screenshot of all cards at that moment, then will immediately copy the image into a document. They will also take a screen shot of the winning card and number, plus the name of the winner.
Once the winning card is verified and relevant information gathered (name and email address), that player shall be declared the winner of the game and all cards will be re-set randomly.
If two or more players call “Bingo” at the same time, the caller will stop the game and check the cards. The first player (with an accurately marked card) to send a “wave” will win the game.
The session ends when 10 games have been played.
Prizes will be sent to each winner, who will need to supply their residential address within the Hunters Hill Local Government Area. The prize for each game will be a $10 restaurant or café voucher. The total prize value available in one session is $100 across the 10 games.
Copies of the randomly generated cards will be kept by Hunter’s Hill Council and each session will be numbered.
The caller’s decision is final.
This session is run under the rules of Social Housie. https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/games-of-chance/community-gaming/games-run-by-anyone/social-housie
