Boronia Precinct

Traffic Management Plan

Consultant ptc. has been engaged by Hunter’s Hill Council to undertake a Local Area Traffic Management Study (LATMS) for the Boronia precinct.

The study is being undertaken in response to feedback from various sources and increasing apprehension in relation to safety and decreased amenity on local roads by residents.

Notification

Road works are scheduled tonight (27 October, 2021) starting at 8pm in Boronia Park.

Work will take up to 3 hours and the majority of work will be on Ryde Road between Pittwater and Park roads.

The work includes:

  1. Crack sealing
  2. Line marking
  3. Signage installation

This job is a result of a road safety audit that was undertaken by Council on Ryde Road as part of Local Area Traffic Management for Boronia Park.

Public feedback is invited from 7-29 October on a draft Local Area Traffic Management Plan.

The draft report provides a Local Area Traffic Management Plan to address the concerns raised and presents an assessment of relevant background information, traffic data, community consultation surveys and an on-site investigation.

It follows a public consultation period during April and May 2021, when community members were invited to provide feedback on traffic issues and safety in the Boronia precinct more broadly, using an interactive map.
