We have halls, parks and reserves available for our community to hire, on a casual basis for events and recreation or seasonally for community and sporting groups.

Community groups and sporting clubs can also manage their bookings online. Closures due to wet weather or other events will automatically be reflected on the organisation’s account.

Events on Council Land

You must fill in the Events on Council Land Application Form if your event is an organised activity, occupying a recreation reserve, park, foreshore or playing field for more than one hour and is attended by 50 people or more.

Examples include; fetes, carnivals, festivals, community celebrations, promotions, displays, filming, photography, sporting gala days, aquatics, regattas, entertainment, fireworks.

Conditions of booking

To make a booking click here. Please note for casual hire a credit card payment will be required at the time of making your booking.

You will be able to see availability of venues on the booking site.

Please take note of the following:

  1. Bookings must be made 5 days prior to events. This allows us the time to get approvals, accounts and access sorted for you.
  2. Please include set up and pack up times in your booking.
  3. By making a booking, it is understood you have read and agreed to the Hall Hire Terms and Conditions and Sports Field Hire Terms and Conditions.
  4. After submission of booking, Council will review and provide confirmation via email.
  5. We will send you an invoice and arrange access keys if applicable thereafter.

FAQs

You can checkout as a guest however your details will not be saved. We recommend you registering an account for ease of making any future booking.

Please select ‘Forgot my password’ on the login page and follow the prompts to reset it.

If you have recently held a booking with Hunter’s Hill Council, you may have already received emails from the Booking System to your user login email address. If you are still unsure please contact customer service on 02 9879 9400 or email customerservice@huntershill.nsw.gov.au.

Once logged in, select My Account at the top of the page, then select My Details. Here you can update your contact details as required.

Once logged in, select My Account at the top of the page, then select your booking link under the Booking Name. Select Add Manual Contact at the bottom of your booking details. Enter the contact details name, email address and mobile number (if applicable) and select Add Contact.

Credit card online (BPoint) is the preferred payment method, as this is instantly reflected on your account.

We also accept BPAY (please refer to your invoice for your payment reference), and payment by cheque or Eftpos in person at the Town Hall & Administration Centre, located at 22 Alexandra Street, Hunters Hill.

Once logged in, select My Account at the top of the page, then select your booking link under the Booking Name. Click Cancel Entire Booking.

Please note, unless otherwise stated all cancellations attract a fee of 25% of the original charge. Cancellation with less than 14 days notice may result in loss of the entire charges. Alternatively, you may wish to reschedule your event for no charge.

There is a 30 minutes buffer between all bookings.

No, booking times must include set up, pack up, cleaning and exiting times.

Unless otherwise stated a fee is chargeable of $160.00 per hour (including GST) (minimum 1 hour, followed by 15 minute increments) for use of Council Officers time where required.
